The Brooklyn Navy Yard has been around since 1801.
Some of the cranes are over 100 years old. Believe it or not, some of them are still being used at some of the docks!
However, some of them are just relics, reminders of a bygone era. Such was the case with this particular crane. The property managers wanted to pay homage to the history of the Navy Yard and called PMM Cranes to carefully move it from it’s long standing post to in front of Steiner Studios.
